I do miss riding! I still have my wonderful dressage horse, Dominic, he's 21 and in incredible shape. He's gently ridden by young riders to keep him ticking over, and hacks out a lot, which he used to hate! What lovely photos you shared. In our old house we had a pond and ducks came every year to flirt and squabble over their women. I always hoped for ducklings but they never brought any.
It is so lovely to hear that you still have your wonderful Dominic and he has a lovely life being adored by the young riders. I bet he teaches them loads! It is so true when you say the ducks flirt and squabble over their woman. The geese are the same. Before that it was the toads. Never a dull moment π
I went back and managed to get a photo. I will not bother them again!
Tom hereβ¦..
One should always stop to watch the ducks.
Those downey fluff balls of new life are a favorite of spring.
Thanks! πβ€οΈπ¦
They are so lovely. Spring is well and truly here π¦π»
Love this! It's wonderful to slow down and appreciate these things :) Did you manage to get photos of the ducklings?
I did! I was really lucky. I popped it as a post. Iβll send it to you π
Real life in real time β thanks, Sammi, for a little glimpse into yours and the abundance of nature in your surround.
There is certainly a lot of nature wherever I look. I do love it :)
